The pendant is topped with a diamond crest formed from open, looping ribbon shapes, some pave-set and some left as bare open outlines, with two pear-shaped diamonds marking the crest's center. Below it, a single oval ruby sits prong-set, its deep red catching light against the fan of diamond above. The whole piece tapers upward from the stone into a light, layered crown of ribbon.
