The bangle carries two dragon heads, one on each end, positioned to face one another across the small gap where the piece opens rather than closes fully shut. Between them and the plain brushed sections, the shoulders open into a pierced scroll pattern, denser near the dragons and lighter as it recedes. The whole form reads as tension held in place rather than a closed, uninterrupted loop.
