A large central peony sits raised above the surface, its petals broad and smooth against the finer texture around it. Twelve smaller blooms circle it, some brushed matte, some cut with sharp ridged petals. The medallion doesn't leave open space the way the circlet pieces do. Every part of the surface is accounted for.
