The pendant's border is scalloped into a flower shape and etched with fine scrollwork, framing a center built entirely in filigree. Wound wire curls into five petals, each one gathered at the base with a small bead, giving the bloom lift against the flat etched ground behind it. The cord finishes in a small band capped with red enamel, a single point of color against the gold.
