The Dog stands for loyalty, sincerity, and honesty in the Chinese zodiac. Its bark, 汪, echoes 旺, meaning thriving, which is why a dog has long been welcomed as a sign of a prosperous household. Resting serenely, this figure carries a wish for a home that is faithful, warm, and full of good fortune.
