The longevity lock takes its silhouette from an old form worn to guard against harm, its curved shoulders bordered in a twisted rope edge rather than left plain . At the center, a small medallion carries 福, blessing, set apart from the openwork around it. The lock doesn't close on anything. It simply holds its shape, the way a wish does once it's been made.
