The bird spreads its wings unevenly across the collarbone, one side lifted higher than the other, tail feathers falling in long layered strands beneath. Small beads hang loose on fine wire near the base of the tail, moving on their own rather than fixed in place. Nothing about the piece sits flat against the chest. It holds its shape the way the ring version does, just given a wider stage to do it on.
