The pendant splits into two distinct registers stacked one above the other, a domed crown worked in pierced lace above a lower half left solid and hammered. Between them, a thin beaded rim marks the shift from lace to solid. A small quatrefoil bail connects the piece to the chain, its own surface faceted rather than plain. Two textures, kept apart rather than blended.
